Jeep Catches Fire on Beach Road; None Injured

Two men were uninjured after the Jeep they were traveling in caught fire near the Big Bridge on Beach Road Friday afternoon. A 1996 Jeep Cherokee "caught fire between the muffler and the underside," said Charlie Tucy, the vehicle's owner.

The Little League season came to an end Saturday with the championship games. In the major leagues, the Red Sox defeated the Cubs 10-0 to take home the title.In the minor league championship, the Dodgers beat the Orioles 9-2. The teams faced off for three tight games during the regular season, with the Orioles winning two of the games.
